Smart Industry recently published an article where they spoke with Tim Borkowski from Fastenal. He said, "Flexibility and responsiveness. Everyone we had talked to was shying away from the unique job and part numbers—we’re pushing 2,500-3,000 jobs per month." We are not afraid of a challenge. It is great to work with Fastenal and we are looking forward to presenting at the 2018 Smart Industry Conference with them in September!

At the 2018 Smart Industry Conference in September, Tim Borkowski, VP of manufacturing with Fastenal, will co-present the session “Visibility, Analytics Deliver for Fastenal Manufacturing” with MachineMetrics COO Eric Fogg. Their presentation focuses on a partnership born when Fastenal realized it needed real-time visibility into its efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. Managers needed to collect and understand increasingly impactful downtime/setup procedures and make proactive vs. reactive improvements. And Fastenal needed to analyze and activate data from machine types, shop-floor systems and multiple locations that had been isolated.
