Analytics-Based Pilots Most Likely To Succeed In Digital ManufacturingSource: http://www.forbes.com

These and many other insights are from McKinsey’s most recent study of digital manufacturing adoption, How digital manufacturing can escape ‘pilot purgatory’. The study is available for download here (PDF, 24 pp, no opt-in). McKinsey interviewed 700 qualified respondents from companies with more than 50 employees and over $10M in revenues, spanning a range of industry sectors from automotive to chemicals to transport and logistics. One of the study’s goals is to provide insights into the impact, strategy, key solutions, and implementation approach taken by enterprises across seven key markets including Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, and the USA.
