Steve Askins has some great tips for implementing Industry 4.0. According to him, making the transition a priority is important and letting your senior team members lead that transition is the way to go. Then, swap out reactive maintenance for proactive maintenance and invest in training. "Reaping the rewards of Industry 4.0 is largely dependent on sharing data with third-party maintenance suppliers or OEMs, to facilitate correct data analysis and more progressive maintenance practices, such as remote condition monitoring." He thinks that partnering with an expert is the best way to get all the benefits from industry 4.0, and we agree!

Prioritise your workforce in your IoT integration: Ensuring that your workforce understand the benefits of Industry 4.0 will be integral to correct implementation. Particular attention needs to be paid to senior employees who will lead the way.
