Industry Week said, "There are rules of thumb to help improve the opportunity for lean success among low-volume, high-mix manufacturers, as well as lessons to be learned from such companies traveling the lean path." One of the companies Industry Week spoke to focused on setting incremental goals. Another found a 50% output increase after becoming more lean.
