Technology is not just impacting production floors, it is impacting services in manufacturing as well! Manufacturing Global listed ta few standouts in this area. The first they mentioned is mobile apps in the workplace. While mobile phones used to be frowned upon at work, they are now being utilized as important tools! They said, "The use of applications ultimately makes it easier and quicker for technicians to retrieve their work schedules, log activity or product information in real time, which can make a big difference to the quality of service offered." The second standout is AI. Customers are experiencing a high level of AI in their purchasing experience which is raising the bar across the board.
