Industry 4.0 is sweeping the world. For Industry 4.0 in China, the focus is on artificial intelligence, intelligent finance, healthcare, and smart logistics. One person said, “We are embracing smart manufacturing with open arms. It will allow us to respond to the needs of increasingly demanding consumers both here and around the world and it represents the backbone of the next stage of China’s development.” They have set aside an area called TEDA which stands for Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area and they are focusing on not only development but connectivity and collaboration. They hope to further technology in manufacturing to increase their efficiency and intelligence in the field.
