    When it comes to lean manufacturing, there are a few new trends in 2019 that you should keep your eye on. 

    The two biggest factors driving change in lean manufacturing are IoT and increased customer expectations. AR and AI are two ways to adapt. The Manufacturer said, "The increased use of AR and AI for example will drive improvements in operational efficiencies, elimination of defects, reduced lead times and increased cost advantages."

    As far as customer experience, tracking custom projects is another huge trend. Customers now like to know where their order is in the process and exactly when they can expect to receive it.
