A look inside the 3D Experience Fab Lab

Young students are getting valuable experiences at Dassault Systemes and Solidworks’ 3D Experience Fab Lab in Boston. Engineering jobs are in high demand, and getting children interested in the STEM field at a young age can lead to a bright future. “The main attraction is the Mentor-Fabber Collaboration Model, which brings young students and engineering mentors together in the fab lab. A fabber (user) invests a total of 20 hours in mentor-assisted training across all the lab tools and gains full access to all the tools and facilities of the lab.” There are different projects based on time frame and interest.
