First, remember that while you can learn from others' experiences in lean manufacturing, everyone will have a different experience.
Some companies will run into a tendency to backslide or complacency. Remember that lean manufacturing is about continuous improvement - keep on moving forward!
Also, make sure you don't rely too much on one person. The Fabricator said, " If your lean journey’s success is heavily dependent on one key person, you risk derailment. ... if a good understanding of lean isn’t strongly woven into the fabric of the business, you could find that the new person simply throws out all those previous efforts and starts over in his or her own way."
