    196,000 new jobs in manufacturing last year

    2017 was a great year for manufacturing, in part because many jobs were created! The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that 196,000 jobs were added in the manufacturing field last year. That's 196,000 opportunities! "That represents a dramatic swing from the year before. In 2016, according to the historical data published by BLS, the United States lost 16,000 jobs."
