Tech giant HP and professional services firm Deloitte are teaming up in an effort to influence the young, blossoming additive manufacturing market through a variety of ways. Their goal is to lead the charge into what CEO’s Dion Weisler (HP) and Punit Renjen (Deloitte) are calling “the 4th industrial revolution.” As additive manufacturing continues its exponential rise throughout the manufacturing industry, these two influential companies are partnering to combine their respective niches in the global manufacturing market: technology and global influence. The end goal? Pushing an agenda that is not only technological advancement, but also the consumer base. It will be interesting to see what these two do!
